Communitas is a nonprofit that provides Direct Support Professional assistance in Poulsbo, Silverdale, Bremerton, and Port Orchard for adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities.

In continued recognition of Migraine and Headache Awareness Month, today we are highlighting men and headache diseases. Although men are the cause of many headaches, men who suffer from migraines have a 42% increased chance of heart attacks. Men who have migraines are also 50% more likely to have risk factors for cardiovascular disease, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol.
