June 17th is World CDKL5 Day

Communitas is a nonprofit that provides Direct Support Professional assistance in Poulsbo, Silverdale, Bremerton, and Port Orchard for adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities.

CDKL5 is a gene that is essential to provide instructions for normal brain and neuron development.  People with CDKL5 disorder can manifest a broad range of clinical problems.  It was first discovered in 2004.
