May 25th is World Thyroid Day

Communitas is a nonprofit that provides Direct Support Professional assistance in Poulsbo, Silverdale, Bremerton, and Port Orchard for adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities.

Almost everyone knows someone affected by thyroid disease or thyroid cancer. International awareness on World Thyroid Day was created to create awareness about symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment of conditions that are available around the globe.
