Learning Disability Awareness Month, Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Nonverbal, Oral/Written are all learning disabilities.

Communitas is a nonprofit that provides Direct Support Professional assistance in Poulsbo, Silverdale, Bremerton, and Port Orchard for adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities.

 

Did you know that October is also Learning Disability Awareness Month?  One in five students learn differently; whether it be from a Learning Disability such as Dyslexia, and/or having attention issues such as ADHD.  This month is to recognize the achievements of those students and commit to creating an even stronger future for them.

 

Our graphic below is made using a font that is designed to assist people with Dyslexia in reading.
