June 29th is World Scleroderma Day!

Communitas is a nonprofit that provides Direct Support Professional assistance in Poulsbo, Silverdale, Bremerton, and Port Orchard for adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities.

Scleroderma is a rare chronic autoimmune rheumatic disease that hardens connective tissues.  Both the skin and internal organs can be affected by the illness.  There is presently no cure.  There are successful treatments for individual organs.
